Projects
This page serves as a list (and brief homepage) for the various projects that I have worked on, am working on, and will work on. This page lists my non-academic (hobby) projects; my academic projects can be found here.
University of Alberta Space Elevator Racing Team (UASERT)
I’m a member of the U of A’s space elevator team in the role of Vice-President and Electronics Team Leader.
TICK-TOCK
This project, the name of which is a backronym for Tenacious Internet-Capable Klock that is Tremendously Obstinate and Cannot be Killed, is an alarm clock to get those people out of bed like myself that simply cannot do so by more conventional means. It was started as a final-year design project for the CMPE 490 project course, but I’m planning on putting an actual one together for myself over the summer.
Artificial Memetic Environment
This is a project to try to simulate the evolution, interaction, and propagation of memes via distributed computing. Because the project is still in its preliminary stages, it doesn’t have its own page just yet.
Kiwi
This is a now-in-limbo project to try to evolve a “best” keyboard layout, but to allow customizations so that people with missing fingers or different finger lengths or simply different preferences or ideas could put out a layout that was customized to their information.
